Wavely Chat is built to help businesses send and manage WhatsApp template messages, receive customer replies, and operate messaging workflows using the WhatsApp Business Platform. By using the Service you agree to the practices described in this policy.
Information We Collect
We collect information needed to provide and improve the Service. This includes:
- Business contact information (company name, business email)
- WhatsApp identifiers (WABA ID, phone number ID, message IDs)
- Message content sent to or received from phone numbers used with the Service
- Basic usage and diagnostic data (logs, timestamps, API responses)
How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Send and receive WhatsApp messages on behalf of connected businesses
- Display message history and conversation UIs in your dashboard
- Store templates and template usage metadata
- Diagnose issues, monitor performance, and improve the Service
- Meet legal or regulatory obligations
Third-Party Services and Integrations
Wavely Chat integrates with Meta’s WhatsApp Business Platform (Cloud API). When you connect a WhatsApp Business Account via Embedded Signup or by providing credentials, the Service will interact with Meta APIs on your behalf. We may also use third-party hosting, analytics, or monitoring providers. These providers are bound to protect your data and only process it as necessary to provide their services.
Asset Ownership & Tokens
Business customers onboarded through Embedded Signup retain ownership of their WhatsApp assets (WABA, phone numbers, templates). Wavely Chat will request and store business-scoped access tokens necessary to operate messaging for that business. We treat those tokens as sensitive credentials and protect them accordingly.
Information Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information:
- With service providers who perform functions on our behalf (hosting, analytics)
- When required by law, court order, or to protect legal rights
- To comply with Meta/WhatsApp integration requirements (for example, to register phone numbers or subscribe to webhooks)
Webhooks & Message Data
Incoming messages and status updates are delivered to Wavely Chat via webhooks configured on your WhatsApp Business Account. Webhook events include message content and delivery status. For the purpose of App Review and testing, webhook payloads may be logged for debugging.
Data Retention
We retain message logs and related metadata for as long as needed to provide the Service and to comply with legal obligations. You can request deletion of your data; where deletion is requested we will act in accordance with applicable laws and remove data within a reasonable timeframe.
Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect information, including encrypted storage of sensitive credentials, HTTPS for all network traffic, and access controls. However, no system is completely secure—if you suspect a security issue, contact us immediately at the email below.
Your Rights

Children
